Since its inception in 1981, financial services was a division of PIPAC (Professional Insurance Planners and Consultants).  Due to the large volume of business, PIPAC LIFE Brokerage was created in 2006.  Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience to assist you in finding the right solution for your clients.  We pride ourselves and are known for offering our agents Positively Outrageous Service!

After returning home from Vietnam and receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals, Greg Saul, an Air Force retiree, started a career in insurance by accident. He had responded to a Stoddard Publications (Cappers Weekly) advertisement thinking it was a job in advertising, but ended up selling cancer and accident policies to their subscribers.

 

Greg spent several years cold-calling on farmers who were Cappers Weekly and Wallace Farmer magazine subscribers to sell the cancer, accident, and major medical policies. He became a pro at field underwriting where many customers had impaired health conditions. More often than not, the local agent could only offer health insurance to the healthy prospects, which resulted in losing both accounts. Greg decided he could better-serve his clients’ needs by helping the local independent agent find the right health insurance for their clients. Whether in perfect health or not, he would have a solution.  PIPAC was born. Professional Insurance Planners and Consultants (PIPAC) was founded in 1981 by Gregory A. Saul. Greg started out by himself, over the years the company has expanded to its present location at 1521 Technology Parkway, Cedar Falls, Iowa.

 

Greg believes that the best-trained and best equipped army wins the war, and likewise, the best-educated and best-equipped agent sells more insurance! PIPAC is in the business of serving others.

 

Agent Services – We want to support you and your clients with answers to your questions. We are here as a consultant for you, the agent. This allows you to do what you do best – sell insurance while we take care of all the busy work.  As a PIPAC LIFE Brokerage agent, you do not have to worry about anything but the sale. You don’t have to worry about mistakes on your apps, because we double check to make sure that everything you send in is correct. When you or your client needs a voice at the Home Office, we can step up.  Greg is currently on the Broker Advisory Council with Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Dakota.  Greg is also on Delta Dental of Iowa’s Broker Advisory and Customer Relations Boards. You don’t even have to worry about finding a class to fulfill the Iowa state mandated Continuing Education Credit requirements, because PIPAC offers them for free.
